Texting and Driving Don’t Mix

If I were a congress woman, I would compose a law that would concern texting and driving. The law I would compose would be for every state. It would state that all drivers including adults and company drivers are not allowed to drive and text at the same time. If a person is caught texting and driving they will have a fine defined by a judge. They may also go to jail if the reproductions are serious enough.

In comparing drinking and driving with texting and driving, texting and driving is worse. When drinking and driving you may not be able to process things as well as normal. However, when texting and driving your eyes are completely off the road. You have no vision whats so ever. In my opinion, not seeing the road at all is worse than not comprehending things as well.

A plan that would reduce the use of texting while driving would be to create a hands-free technology to text someone. If we could make something so you could just talk to the car and say “text (name)” .Then you would say what you want to text end then when you say send it would send.  When you get a text it would tell you there is a text and you can either tell it to open it and read it or ignore it. Then if you want, it would read it to you.

Why Use CSS?

There are many reasons why CSS is used when styling web sites. One reason is because it separates content from presentation.

By using CSS it helps keep the loading time shorter by using simpler and cleaner HTML code. It also helps organize everything and eliminate unessisary elements which will help users navigate easily through your website.

Another reason it is used is because it helps you control many properties of your site. You can easily make rules and properties for many things like  fonts, font sizes, underlining, text shadows, text color, background color, link color, link underlining, and much more. This keeps your appearance and layout more consistent.

By using CSS when making web sites, you can control the format and placement of a block-level element. Instead of separating it by a new line in HTML,  CSS does it for you.

Another reason why to use CSS when making a web site is because when you make one tag, you can apply it to many other tags at once. When you change a CSS rule in one place, the changes are automatically updated to the new style.

You can define the following types of styles in Dreamweaver:Class styles, HTML tag styles, and advanced styles. You can also make CSS rules go to many locations like external CSS style sheets, internal or embedded CSS style sheets and inline styles.

CSS also helps you to make a website easier because it makes all of the code for you. All you need to know is what you want in your web site and for the most part know what you want it to look like. CSS will do all of the hard work for you.

All in all CSS helps create a more organized, consistent, and user-friendly website.

The most important things for this topic are colors, images and all over look. The colors of a website should depend on what kind of website it is. Optimizing Image

the three tips for optimizing images are, keep the dimensions small-crop them, use as few colors as possible, and put your images through an optimization program. In some pictures there is a lot of extra space around the subject. Cropping this extra space out makes the picture look better and download fast. To keep your pictures fast loading, you have to limit the size of the GIF palette. You have to onnly use the colors that are actually in the picture. By using an optimizing program you can keep your pictures small with a minimum amount of effort.

Website Roles

I choose a graphic designer. I choose this because it is a very important job. This is an important job because   . They are in charge of making the website look nice and appealing to the designated audience. The graphic designer is in charge of  the lay out and organization. This organization involves images ans text. They do this by using HTML. They must be up to date on the latest HTML extensions in order to get the job done right. This job takes a lot of knowledge to be able to communicate with people and to be able to create things that are visually appealing. These skill will help create the image that the website owner is looking for. A graphic designer can make up to $51,750 to $74,520 in a year. They work in office areas that are modern and current. This ultimately is a very successful and important job to finish the  website.

Principles of Design

Alignment brings order to chaos. Waiting in lines brings order into a situation. Imagine being in Burger King at lunch time and not having an organized line. It would give everyone a head ache. Everyone would be crowded around trying to order all at once and there would always be mix ups and screwed up orders. On a page the same concept applies.

Repetition or consistency help people remember what to do. An example of this would be in school. The bell schedule provides consistency in our schedules. If our schedules changed every day and they were never at the same times, no one would be able to plan anything very well. The teachers wouldn’t know how much time they have to teach so they wouldn’t know what they can do during that class period. Students would always be late to class because they wouldn’t know when it starts. Being able to keep consistency allows people to stay organized and less frustrated.
